Bike Italy - Verona Province

The Province of Verona offers good riding but not because the urban spread of the city is so large it limited to specific area for road bikes, but there are several great Mountain bike options. 

TOP RIDES IN THE VERONA PROVINCE

1 - Soave: The hills behind this walled city offers both road and Mountain bike routes.

2 - Monte Lessini: This is a National Park area and there are several climbs to be done.

3 - Foothills of Monte Baldo: This is wine country and the rolling hills offer a few great routes to explore. 

4 - Peschiera del Garda to Montova:  Bike path that runs south from the Lake to the city of Montova following the Macino river.

5 - Adige River bike path:  This path runs all the way to Bolzano.

6 - Verona Plain: There is the designaed rice road but more interesting is following the track that Napolean used during his first excursion into Italy. You can follow secondary roads to the souther tip of the Berici Hills or work your way south towards the Emilia Romagna region.

7 - Lake Grada:  You can ride around Lake Grada, on of the hardest climbs in Italy is near Brenzone, and Monte Baldo has plenty of Mountain Bike routes.
