TRISSINO, VICENZA PROVINCE

The old town with many narrow streets on a hill, is mostly made up of the villa Trissino Marzotto. The “lower Villa” can be seen on the way up the hill and you can still see it as it stands after being struck by lightning. The newer part of town, which hosts a circular reinforced concrete structure called the church of San Pietro, spreads out down the hill to the valley. The town is one of the main centers for gold workers.

The area is easy to reach by bus and there are several good walks in the hills.
