I've traveled to a lot places in the world, and there are still many places I want to go and I've had the good fortune to have lived and worked in Italy for over 20 years. As a whole, Italy is a mass of chaotic wonder one moment, then you are in awe, only to be bewildered in the next instant, as to why would someone do.
As part of our cultural heritage Italy has played a major role in influencing many things we do, say, use, and eat and drink every day, that in itself is a great reason to visit the country. With Roman ruins, the city states of Florence and Venice, art, and food and wine a traveler has much to explore. I feel that one of the best ways to truly learn and understand, why there is chaos mixed with a element of anarchy, you have to get away from the major tourist treks.
As you explore the guide that I have developed, I hope that you will see the immense complexity of the Italian state, the varied regional cultures, and the natural wonder of the landscape and how it has influenced the cultural and gastronomical development of the country. The entire time I lived here in Italy, has been as a recreation professional either teaching or leading tours for; biking, ski, or climbing. These adventures have taken me throughout the country and help introduced me to the real Italy.· Today if any one asks my opinion on the best way to explore the country, it is to get away from the big three (Roma, Florence, and Venice), after you have seen what is on your must do list and explore.·This will give you a greater understanding of the cities development and influence on the individual region and give you a greater understanding of what makes Italy as a country special.
Italy is the perfect travel destination for any one who loves to explore and learn combined with an active vacation . It is very hard nowadays to have free time to truly enjoy recreational pursuits and balance the commitment of family, relationships, that even the lifestyle choices. Because of the varied nature of the landscape, history, and culture Italy offers you small 'assiggi (taste) everywhere you turn.· This· variety can be structured so you can to take full advantage of all your vacation time, budget and goals when you visit the country.
The important thing about understanding where to visit and what to do, in Italy, is to have a good grasp of the infrastructure and what's being offered to you as an individual. Italy has been a tourist destination since the later years and fall of the Roman Empire. Therefore there is a multitude of marketing and salesmanship that goes into convincing you to come and enjoy the country.· You as the individual traveler must educate yourself enough so that you can make a good choice on what you would like to do and see.· But if everything you read and every photo you see has the perfect description, lighting, and best conditions is very difficult to get a clear idea on what to see what to do and how much you should be paying for these things.
Once you arrive in to Italy you will find it is easy to maintain a travel budget as low as €100 per day or more than 500 euro a day. You do not need to know the Italian language to save money you just need to know where the locals eat, ride, hike, and local history then you can pick a place to stay based upon the budget and how comfortable you wish to be.
