Spriana bouldering area is located in the Lombardy Region of Italy and is within the small village, of the same name. The atmosphere is relaxed and the setting is a great place to visit with young climbers or just relax. The climbing area is located the town park and there are posted signs for the various problems.
The rock is coarse granite typical to the area. So days can be a bit busy since it is easy to get to. The best time to climb is Spring and Fall, summer and be a bit hot and snow fall can cover the area at time in the winter. Most of the bloc's are 2 to 4 meters with a variety of overhanging and vertical slabs. Landing is good and you this is a nice solo climber location. 1 crash is enough for many problems and if you are there on a weekend you will generally find other climbers.

GETTING TO SPRIANA
As you will drive up the valley you reach Chiesa della Madona there is some parking. Try not to block roads and respect the area, the community has embraced the climbing community and placed picnic tables and signs for out benefit. The boulders are in the park behind the church with a few being up in the woods above the town.
